Dashboard update – Summer 2018

Managed WordPress clients will notice a change to their WordPress dashboard this week. The old, rather ugly details panel has been updated with more information regarding your plan, account details, billing and more. The updates panel now displays news related to the Managed WordPress service, important update notifications (like the WordPress 5.0 update coming soon), and downtime notifications.

The new Managed WordPress admin dashboard – Summer 18 update

“Welcome to your Managed WP site”

This section provides news and important updates related to WordPress, your service, and scheduled downtime. Most of the information here will be communicated beforehand via email, but this is a great place to review notices in case they get lost in your inbox.

“Your Account Information”

This section provides details related to your service or management plan, which are sometimes combined. You’ll find your site name, primary point-of-contact, site domain (and a tag showing SSL status), permanent directory if you’re hosted with us, support plan and status meter (if pre-paid web work was purchased).

If the details in this panel are incorrect, please contact us ASAP, as it means our records are out of date and need to be updated.

Where are the new panels?

Don’t see the panels? Log into your admin dashboard (yoursite.com/login) and you should see them there. If not, scroll down to see if they’re hidden under the default panels, and feel free to minimize or reorder panels by dragging the titlebar of each panel. Alternatively, reach out to use and we can take care of it for you!

We’ve got even more features planned for this new dashboard, and can’t wait to release them later this year. If you have any questions regarding the dashboard update, please reach out to me (Evan) directly. As always, please reach out with any other questions or concerns related to your site, and thank you for your business!
